This week, the Institute of European Finance (IEF) hosted its 2025 conference at the Albert Gubay Business School under the theme Contemporary Financial Research in a Transforming World. The event brought together academics from across the globe to explore how finance is adapting to rapid technological, environmental, and geopolitical change.
An insightful keynote from Professor Sabri Boubaker and a great line-up of papers from Bangor researchers, the conference highlighted the Schools global engagement and its role in shaping research that addresses real-world challenges. A sincere thanks to all colleagues involved in organising and supporting the event, whose teamwork helped make the conference such a success.
