Key Ecosystem Service: Recreation and Biodiversity.

Main objectives of Ecotwin:  Characterise recreational use patterns of the lake system (e.g., swimming, fishing) and identify stakeholder priorities for future water quality and recreational suitability projections. 

Main challenges: 

•    Deteriorating water quality affecting recreational availability and use.
•    Limited accessibility for users.
•    Weather dependent usability.
•    Declining or shifting fish populations.
•    Need for better real time monitoring tools and data integration to inform management decisions.
